About the job The mission of the Retail & Payments team is to make it easier for users to pay on Play by growing our payments coverage, bringing Play to life at retail, and ensuring user trust and safety. You ll be part of a unique team at Google that focuses on delivering a flawless physical and digital product at global scale, driving billions of impressions a month and helping to ensure that consumers have an easy, flexible way to pay for the in-game items and content they love.As the Americas Strategy and Sales Operations Manager for the Google Play Retail & Payments team, you will be responsible for ensuring the complex and ever-evolving Americas business runs smoothly. You will partner to provide business critical insights using analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic initiatives forward. You will align business priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users. Responsibilities Manage Sales Operations for the Retail and Payments Americas region, including sales and channel investment fund forecast.Use data to identify and surface growth opportunities.Partner cross-functionally to implement, measure and refine identified new business opportunities.Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to ensure smooth flow of Google operations from global to local, to access and implement global best practice ideas. Qualifications Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Project Management, or Finance.Preferred qualifications:MBA.8 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Finance.Experience partnering with executive-level cross-functional stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex projects with various deadlines.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
