Job Description


The New York Store Manager is in charge to secure and increase the sales ? both Retail, A&D and Trade/Contracts and overseeing the daily operations of the store.

Job Role and Responsibilities


1)?????Develop and manage efficient distribution networks for sales

2)?????New business prospecting and development, including cold-calling; scheduling client introductions and meetings; and preparing presentations, proposals, and bid specifications to strategically win new business.

3) Managing, training and motivating existing store team to drive revenue growth

4) Support customers in their day-to-day efforts to increase sales and distribution

5)?????Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with dealers, architects and contract specifier?s

6)?????Demonstrate service excellence by providing high quality customer service at all times to all customers.

7)?????Provide ongoing feedback to the VP of Sales regarding division needs, concerns and competition.

8) Analyze budgets and current trends to set future sales goals

9) Determine ways to streamline and improve the sales process

10)?Maintain a complete and through understanding of all programs, pricing, guidelines, and procedures

11)?Manage general operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly, cleanly and meets any budget or sales goals.

12)?The position holds numerous tasks including placing orders in the system and coordinate with customer for their release and delivery, handling incoming orders and deal with customer?s complaints ? via email, or other channels, regular phone service etc.

13)?The responsibility also includes close coordination, communication and general back up for the Sales Associate in the showroom as well as the Kartell New York office in general
