Title: Training Manager

The Training Manager is responsible for development, implementation and supervision of agency training programs. The primary objective of the role is to educate the agency team members with informative onboarding and ongoing training sessions that promote company efficiency and improve the skills of the team. The ideal candidate is highly organized and proficient in time management. An excellent writer and public speaker, the Training Manager can effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. The Training Manager reports to the Director of Client Operations.


  • Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
  • Create training programs and materials to position employees for success in meeting client operational compliance
    • Onboarding
    • New and updated process or procedures
    • Refresher modules
    • Formats and taxonomy
    • Version management and retirement
  • Create and manage training calendar
  • Track employee attendance and assessments
  • Keep current on all agency processes and client process requirements
  • Keep current on latest training techniques and technologies
  • Work with agency SMEs to create relevant course curriculums and materials
  • Monitor employee performance and response to training
  • Assist in documentation management strategy and execution
  • Conduct evaluations to identify gaps in material or areas of improvement
  • Participate in evaluation of implementation of learning management system
  • Identify future training needs and create curriculum to facilitate that training


  • College degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 2+ years training experience using traditional and modern training processes
  • Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) a plus
  • Experience in designing and implementing successful curricula
  • Must be highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom environment
  • Ability to solve problems with critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Experience in pharmaceutical promotional advertising huge plus
