Risk Management Associate - Midtown, Manhattan

The Risk Management Associate supports Risk Management in all aspects of the Business Continuity and Insurance Management, including claims reporting, business continuity, disaster recovery testing, and assists with reporting of key metrics.

Primary responsibilities include:

* Assist with day-to-day operations of Business Continuity including monitoring, reviewing, implementation of initiatives, expansion of the program and reporting of risk metrics.
* Assist with the day-to-day operations of Insurance Management including noticing of claims to insurance carriers, maintaining claims files, reviewing insurance coverage issues and advising Bank loan administrators of insurance requirements for borrowers.
* Assist with coordination and review of Disaster Recovery testing for the Bank and critical vendors.
* Maintain, update and publish all policies, procedures and documents related to the Business Continuity Program and ensure all business units adhere to such documents.
* Support Risk Management in all aspects of the department's functions related to Business Continuity and Insurance Management, and aid in developing presentation materials, training sessions, and other communications material.
* Compile information necessary for responding to requests from business units, regulators, consultants, internal audit, and Senior Management.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
* Must have a positive attitude and desire to learn new skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills.
* Ability to interact with all levels of personnel; excellent ability to multitask.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
* Microsoft Office proficienta
* 1 year Risk, Insurance, or other relevant experience preferred.
